This post-war west German vase is a classic piece of 1950s mid-century Modern style. Love its bold abstract expressionistic graphic of bright primary colours!
It would be lovely to use as a pitcher, jug or vase, or it looks great on its own as a decorative piece. The smooth glaze is a mottled grey. Stamp on the base reads 'Made in Western Germany 1706.
