A Biarritz Plate

The classic Biarritz oblong plate with a round centre. Handpainted in a creamy yellow with blue and yellow flowers in the centre. Would make a lovely cake plate / serving plate, or a cabinet plate for special display.

Royal Staffordshire "The Biarritz" plate, produced in Great Britain, with registration number 784849. This design was first used in 1933 to protect the patent design of the square and rectangular-based dinnerware. The Biarritz line is known for its hand-painted designs. 

Measures 26.5cms x 21cms
Great vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Some surface crazing.
