Haere Mai – Welcome To New Zealand Vintage Poster

Haere Mai translates from Maori into English as "Welcome".

This NZ vintage poster was originally designed by the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts and printed circa 1920.

The view shows a Maori woman in the foreground lowering food into a boiling pool with a meeting house or whare in the background - presumably in one of the geothermal areas around Rotorua.
