This charming cottage-style small sauce or gravy boat / jug with a saucer is from the 1930-1940s. It was made by Shorter and Son in the 'Wild Rose' pattern of a pink hand painted rose on a green ground with a basket weave texture.
The jug measures 13 cm in length, 4.5 cm in width, and 6 cm in height. The saucer measures 12.5 cm in length, 9.25 cm in width, and 2 cm in height.
This set is in very good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing of the glaze.
