This beautiful amber glass bowl bowl is shaped like a boat and was made in England by the glass company Sowerby at their Ellison Glass Works. The Sowerby family began making glass around the 1760s, and slowly grew to become a significant manufacturer of glass through the Victorian age. They were quick to adopt new techniques for making pressed glassware and were well known for the artistry of their designs.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass.
