Toroa / Royal Albatross

Paying homage to one of my great loves – the Toroa / Royal Albatross. Renowned ocean wanderers, royal albatross travel vast distances from their breeding grounds to feed – as much as 190,000 km a year. 

Such magnificent birds… I hope this painting captures some of their beauty.
